The USB Chess Game is one of the most useful USB gadgets we’ve seen in a while and is designed for anyone who loves playing chess and wants to test themselves against their mates or their PC. Why play the game of chess on a regular board when all you have to do is plug the USB lead into your PC and you can automatically have all your games saved, timed, scored and more? The USB Chess Game features sensors under every square so your computer can track and record the moves you make. The Chess set features three learning levels, easy, medium and hard, and because it’s USB powered there’s not a battery in sight.

Using the specific software for the Chess Game, you'll be able to see the game you are playing in virtual mode on your PC screen, and you can either choose to play against the computer or a friend. The Chess kit is good for beginners as it can track your moves on your computer screen and give you hints thanks to the built-in help feature that gives you tips and hints when you get really stuck. Other features include the ability to pause and restart your game at the click of a button, take screenshots of the game and share the results with your friends by sending via e-mail, too. The only thing this game doesn’t do is rearrange the pieces for you.
