The Wireless PC Security Lock won’t stop nosey parkers sniffing around your pc and prying into your e-mail messages, programs, data, files, etc. But it what it will make your data secure when you're not there. You may often find yourself in the situation when you need wireless pc security to lock your workstation in some kind of way if you're leaving it for a while.
Mischief, industrial espionage, invasion of privacy; all kinds of bad things can happen when you leave a computer logged in and wander off for a coffee. If you give people complicated passwords, chances are they'll write them on a Post-It note and stick them to the monitor. Users who think they're clever will stick the Post-It to the underside of their desk. And the nosey guy at the next desk will be able to shoulder surf the password.
The Wireless PC Lock can remove all this insecurity! it’s purpose in life is to lock any Windows box (98SE, ME, 2000, XP) when you walk more than 2 metres away from it, and unlock it again when you return, without you having to do a thing.
The Wireless Lock allows you to lock your computer using a transmitter and receiver, leaving you satisfied your pc is safe. A small radio transmitter weighing about 9 grams sits in your pocket, a not-much-larger receiver plugs into a USB port, and whenever the receiver can't hear the transmitter, the computer's locked, its that Simple. The PC Lock also responds quickly, it's no good if it takes 35 seconds to lock or, unlock. It locks within a few seconds of the receiver losing sight of the transmitter, and as long as you to sit down to use your computer, it should be unlocked again by the time you've done so.

1. Effective range: 2 metres
2. The computer automatically enters Lock Mode when the user is away from the computer by more than the effective range.
3. The computer automatically resumes normal operation when the user is back within the effective range.
4. Once the computer enters the Lock Mode, a password is required to use the computer if the transmitter is unavailable.
5. If a user boots or reboots their computer, one of two things will happen:
i) If the transmitter is near the computer, then it will be automatically unlocked i.e the transmitter and PC lock are talking…no lock mode needed.
ii) If the transmitter is not near (i.e an unauthorised user is trying to use the computer) then it will be locked and a password is required. Walking into range with the transmitter at this point will NOT unlock the computer, a password is still required.
Furthermore, if the PC lock is removed either when the computer is on or off, the password is required.
6. One transmitter can be shared with several computers.
